Usually can find what I need but pay more for the convenience of course. They no longer carry some products that I used to buy (now have to be purchased online elsewhere). Love the weekend sales. Not a big fan of the cosmetic dept staff - with the exception of the Tacoma Drive location in Dartmouth - these ladies are always helpful but not pushy.

I have been a Shoppers Drug Mart customer for years, even when the store was in the Fredericton Mall. I've had good service at the Prospect St. Pharmacy, even if there is a lineup. I've never waited more than 5 or10 minutes at noon or at other busy times of the day.
Do you honestly think that the phone can be answered every time it rings? No, of course not. Staff are serving other customers, or processing purchases. You can't leave someone you're waiting on to get the phone. Pharmacists are filling or checking prescriptions.
If my prescription is an urgent issue I try to call as soon as the store opens. If it's not urgent I use the automatic prescription renewal and pick up as advised.
We all have our problems with service, but I'm sure you wouldn't have an issue with service or wait time at grocery stores, fast food, or others on Prospect St, if you thought about it. Hope your expectations are all met at your new pharmacies.

I shop at this location often and always have a very positive experience, everyone is lovely.
I especially want to mention my last trip, which was during the Christmas Super Redemption Event. My shopping was quite substantial as I was doing most of my Christmas shopping with saved up Optimum Points (a fantastic way to stretch your buying power during the Holidays).
I was assisted by 3 amazing Customer Service Representatives:
a) Daren B - eagerly clarified all my inquiries around current and future promotions;
b) Reece W - was so very helpful, patient and friendly with all my checkout needs;
c) Femine B - was so very kind in taking initiative and helping me with my many bags to my vehicle....despite the fact that it was cold and dark outside.

I use this location and in person service is good. Phoning this location is another matter. Never have had anyone pick up from waits on hold of an hour multiple times. Same thing for a few years. Go into the store and you can get it sorted decently quickly. A problem though to have to go in to ask to start a prescription to then go back later to get it.

I have been dealing with Shoppers on Prospect St Fredericton for over 20 years. I have had nothing but wonderful service from them. The pharmacists are helpful and friendly. Any questions I have had about my prescriptions have been answered promptly. I highly recommend them.

Phone system is set up poorly and sends you in circles. Then on hold for way too long. Poor service.
After reading similar reviews from months ago with responses from SD saying thank you/ we want to improve and then not improving, I will be filling my prescriptions elsewhere.

I don't use the pharmacy here, especially with the bad reviews about it but good store if you're looking for over the counter medicine/treatments, etc. Or just anything else like food or other products. Self-checkouts are nice if you don't want to wait, I found store pretty quiet in mornings least for me, prices are a little high though.
