My family and I have now made London Drugs our go to for electronics, random household items and much more - the only box store in town we like - every department has competent and knowledgeable staff ready to help, unlike other stores where you know more than the staff that work there - However , there is one person that to me stands out above the rest ,Kayden from the photo lab department is awesome! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I have dealt with him on a few occasions now and I always leave happy and satisfied. It’s very nice knowing there are still competent workers out there and it’s great London Drugs in Courtenay has managed to have so many of them. 5 stars and two thumbs up for Kayden !!! Keep up the good work sir your hard work has not gone unnoticed!

Driftwood London Drugs is great! [but]Postal outlet review:
I went old school, to mail a birthday postcard.
Employee failed to say they're going on strike.
I had no idea, & don't care about it at all.
Strike forever!! Canada Post is antiquated.
Later, I heard that other postal outlet employees informed their customers, 'hey we're striking, and your package might sit just here.'
Dude, why didn't you tell me you're striking??
It's going to Comox, I could've delivered it myself?!? 'OH, well I have to stay informed about issues'. No, I've always thought Canada Post should be dissolved. Please posties, strike forever , get a real job: apply at London Drugs.

Jarrod from the computer department is my hero! After I spent hours on support where I bought my computer and them telling me that I have to send it away for almost a month to be fixed. I went into London Drugs as a last effort to see if someone would help me. I work online and my tri-fold computer monitors stopped working, they are my lifeline. So you can imagine how upset I was. Without hesitation, Jarrod helped me and got my computer up and running. I am sooooo very grateful.

We shop at this London Drugs regularly. The staff is always pleasant, polite and helpful.
The store’s prices are competitive and they often have great sales.
In Feb 2025, I took my laptop to their computer department. Their technician, Shiraaz resolved the issue which required a reset.
Unfortunately the reset caused many of contracts to disappear BUT Shiraaz took the time to restore the contracts for me.
Apparently Microsoft or Google did a security upgrade that blocked me out of using the email on my laptop. Shiraaz was an able to find a fix on their site.
Thanks so much to Shiraaz for resolving my computer issue - this store will be our go to for future computer needs.

I find that their line of photographic equipment lacks. Often not having enough variety. They do not sell photographic paper in sizes greater than 8.5x11 which is frustrating for those of us who print our photographic work, even though they sell printers that are easily capable of larger papers.
